Just sent a set of nice 79 KZ 1000 LTD pipes to perrykz1000 in Kentucky from Bainbridge Island WA. Cost $56
Been working in a bike shop as a mechanic for the last 18 months and discovered Bikeflights.com.....cheap way to send bicycles across the nation/world for not a lot of money. The box I sent the pipes in measured 45" x 12" x 29" which would have cost a lot via the usual channels. I asked if I could send anything else in the box and they said sure BUT......there were 2 stipulations: 1st was it couldn't weigh more than 60lbs. ......and the 2nd was there was no insured value over $100. Took the chance and it paid off.
Interesting option for larger items. Hope it help someone.

79 KZ 1000 LTD
77 KZ 1000 B1 LTD (awaiting electrical resurrection)
