The one I was ready to sell for $500 because I was frustrated?
Well, MY FRIEND PUT THE CARB FLOATS ON THE WRONG WAY!
LOL.
Thats why she wouldnt start. This is the day it got towed and the pic below that is the bike in all its glory. Now that im keeping it, whats a good LOUD aftermarket 4 into 1 pipe I could put on this?

I would say more than half of the problems I see on old bikes were caused by a previous owner or mechanic. People love to blame the bike, but it's more often not the bike's fault (as you probably already guessed on your bike, back when it wouldn't start), especially on Kz's. The only major pain-in-the-ass weak point I see on the entire Kz line is probably the starter-clutch on the 650 to 750 fours, only because it's so hard to get to. Although, I do see people cranking and cranking the starter even when it's obvious it won't start. That's not doing the starter-clutch any good.

Exactly! These bikes all ran great before owners and (so called) mechanics touched them with wrenches, screwdrivers, crowbars, etc. After that many of them still ran fine, but just as many suffered badly at the hands of folks who had good intentions but poor skills. Ed

Float upside down is easily done. Quite often see one or more upside down, but all four is a new one.
Stick a Delkevic on it go enjoy the sound track.
