Thanks! The KZ750 four was a little faster than the KZ650. My friend and I rode to the Poconos raceway a few times (220+ miles one way). We rode pretty fast when there was little traffic. Once on a 10 minute 120 mph stretch he would gradually pull away from me, let me catch up, then do it again. When we stopped for burgers he asked why I wouldn't go faster. I explained that my bike was running 120 mph and the rpm was right at redline. I told him even if my bike might go a little faster I wasn't going to exceed redline. He was shocked! He said he had no idea we were going that fast because his bike had one of those goofy 85 mph speedometers. We rode more gently the rest of the way home. Ed

Nice article. I love my 750. It may have only 60 hp but it's enough for me and the type of riding I do. The driveability is impeccable and it shifts, turns, and rides good too. The perfect UJM in my opinion. I've owned larger bikes, including two GS1000S's, but I like the KZ750 more.
