Sorry, but I'm not a fan of that chopped off seat look. That bike needs a tastefully done fender in the worst way.

Although this is a clean and nicely painted butcher job.. THIS is the reason I cringe when people mention building a cafe racer out of a clean old Kaw survivor. Um.. yeah it has been >improved<. duh

Gah.
1000s are far too big and bulky to make decent cafe bikes; IMO even 750s are too big. Four-cylinder engines and cast wheels don't look right on this style either.

It looks well executed, but not my personal taste. The one thing that kills me is the cheapo pods and no rear fender to throw crap all over them.

Yes, DoctoRot we both share the same taste. The bike with the low rear end looks like a hyena.
