New Intake Valve

I decided now would be a good time to increase the intake valve size on my KZ-1000 and ordered new ones.  They are coming in one at a time though.  Here is the first one.  What do you think, will it be big enough?    Rick H.

I think your good on the head size but that stem length is really gonna challenge your ability to lash it correctly!

At one point in time I had a valve out of a locomotive engine. It had about a 5” head diameter. It was a cool coffee table conversation starter.

Probably best used with reduced base circle cams.

I think if you whittle it down a bit, she'll drop right in.

....she'll drop right in.

Drop right in to the cylinder? Is that one of those fancy pistons with a really short skirt?

You would obviously have to use a lot more assembly lube.
