I had just purchased a 82 kz 440 and I rode it and everything seemed fine until i noticed a sound only when I decelerate, it doesn't effect the performance but It sounds like a playing card in bicycle spokes.

A short Youtube video of the bike and engine would help to id your noises.

Did you check for a card?

What condition is the drive chain/belt? drive in?
Tight links in a chain can make a noise.
Never had a belt drive, so can't say if they make a noise.

Does the bike have the factory intake and exhaust systems in place? Every engine pops some on deceleration, but the factory intake and exhaust muffle the noise so much it is hardly discernible.

It could be a very loose drive chain or belt flopping against the swing arm or frame.
