1978 KZ1000 for sale - What is it worth?

Agree that as one of either rake or trail changes (increase or decrease) the opposite change happens for the other.  But length of forks and angle of the neck and any offset in triple trees plays a part as well. I was attempting to point out that the change to leading axle happened in 81.  Which in my way of thinking (could be incorrect) if all else is equal it would make a change in rake which as stated would change trail.

AFAIK rake is just the angle of the headstock. Only trail uses the position of the front axle. Hence when you increase rake without making any other changers the trail will also increase. The leading axle is then used to counteract that and reduce trail. The 750H still has a bit more trail than the 750E but not as much as it would with the standard forks.

Maybe. but this is what KZR is all about, starts at "how much is this bike worth",  O.P disappears, members keep the thread going and it turns into a debate on the finer points of rake and trail of specific models. No politics, just bike talk. The way it should be.

The 750H head tube is 3 degrees more slack, to make up for the leading axle fork.
