Resurrection of BOTM

10 Dec 2022 11:42

So in the below thread the topic of BOTM (bike of the month) has been raised, DD then skilfully challenged me to " put my money where my mouth is" and help out. The questions is
  1. What is the appetite for it ?
  2. Are members going to commit to putting forward nominations for their own or other members bikes ?
  3. If "your" bike is selected are you prepared to send a short write up to post with the pictures ?
In my mind it would be good to get a mix of restored/ modified/rare/clean unrestored completely original bikes from the Z - KZ -GPZ - S&H model strokers etc
What are your thoughts ?????

I’m not the most active member here, but you can count on me to vote on BOTM when the time comes, and I will definitely nominate my own bike at some point too. Not just yet, it still needs some work, but eventually.

Okay, I'll nominate the brainchild of a hero, first in the garage and now on the battlefield: Gazzz's KZ 650 cafe-racer.

Apologies if it was ever BOTM in the past; I scrolled for a while and didn't see it.
Is this thing working? Is this thing on?

Skip the vote, and just give Gazz the trophy!

I am preparing January as I write this, Gazzz's work is definitely more than worthy when he is in a position to send the details/pics etc
