Rumor sez Kawasaki has this sweet little 400 in the pipeline. I wonder if it will come to the U.S.?

The Z900 looks good to us until the front of the rear tire on back. Then, too much empty space. Curious they don't show the rear of the Z400...

If Mama Kaw shows us a dual-shock 750 ~ 1000 similar to the late Honda CB1100, we'll talk.

And they make the z400rs a four cylinder, yet the z650rs is only a twin!
The 400 looks nice.
Inverted forks (USD) again the 650 did not get (not much suspension adjustability either)..

In case you aren't aware Kawasaki made a Z400-4cyl back in the day.  and apparently similar to the Z500/550 as they're covered in the same manuals (that I've seen).  The 400F and 400J were a couple of them. I'm not very familiar with the model range. Also, the ZX600-4 has been around for decades.

The new ZX400 RR is evidently a stunning performer. I hope most of that carries over to the masked bike and I hope it comes to the U.S.

well i like the bottom one as its been said the rear end just looks to empty its very rare to find a bike that you like all of it ,i know its driven by progress but twin shock would fill that space

And then "Luddites" like me come along and remove the twin shocks for a cleaner look

Oh, I know there have been many 400/4s.
The 650 though has always been a four cylinder, until recently.
The 650 twin is used in many models, and for many years already.
I'm not surprised it ended up in the 2022 z650rs.

A four cylinder would have been my choice.
