Flat Tire
04 Aug 2009 17:36 - 04 Aug 2009 18:35
I have been putting some miles on the LTD trying to get everything settled in. I rode it to town and bought some gas and stopped by the Root Beer stand and flirted with the girls.
The guy i was sitting with is leaving and i look outside and there are black clouds to the horizon.
I jumped on the bike and started to the house 13 miles away. I turned left at a 4 way stop and the bike nearly came around with me. The pavment was dry. I'm back up to 60 and the bike don't feel good. I look down and i have a rear tire going down. Five miles to go.
Made it home holding the bike as straight as i could. Probably 2 lb. of air in the tire. :S

I didn't check the tire out as the wind was blowing 30+ mph and i had to button up the shop and secure cover on motorcycle.
I keep plugs for emergency. I'll have the tire dismounted and patched on the inside.
I use to roof and i broke a tire down once and it had three roofing nails in it.
I had a rear to go down suddenly once and it dismounted itself. Shades of motoX with 500 lbs.
