A day in each state with everyone meeting at a different camp ground at the end of the day.

Let Rams poll decide what states get the weekend.

That would give folks a chance to jump in at the last minute and ride one of the sections or state
no need to ride the whole thing ;)

Just a thought Turkey run and a few others have cabin rentals as well allot of wives may not be into a day on the bike and a night in a tent.

and some just wont do a night in a tent

I rode through pennyrile forest state park on my leg of the ride its nice but not as big an area as we would need while HWY109 is a great hwy I know it was the last weekend in September but almost no traffic through the twisties but also no local attractions

couple rock formations but that was about it

suggestions on areas greatly appreciated

I would like to check out Turkey Run again sometime but not during riding season.
When I was there to meet the Kool Aid Kid and Les it was pretty crowded and far too regulated for my liking.
It looks like they have some real narley trails to hike and I would like to spend a couple days doing that during the Winter months,
nice roads around there though and we would have Les for a tour guide.

This year I started at the top of Indiana and have made it as far South as Vincennes and about 50 miles East of that into Hoosier National Forest , I would like to hit the bottom and go into Kentucky someday, still a lot to see.

From what the maps show it looks like you have a lot of curvy roads East of Evansville IN.

Maybe Shawnee is with in reach to the West.

We have a son living south of Nashville but I think that I would like to plan that trip around the next PseudoMoto Rally and bring Mrs. bluej down for that.

I'm not sure that I can get the Mrs. on board the this one so it looks like I'm camping and probably will be stretching it out for a few days, so I'm open for anything.

The Ride to nashvile staying off of the interstate was awesonme I plan on doing their get together next year for sure this weekend am doing a MT Vernon Indiana get together its called old bikers rally or something like that on Sunday pretty small event 25-40 bikes max gonna be a brisk ride but my surgery is looming so trying to make the most of it

Sunday we are helping my Aunt sell food additives at the Burgoo festival, long day and it's suppose to be cold. :pinch:

Today I have to drive 170 miles up past St. Joes MI to help a friend figure out how to do some work on his house.

Not a good weekend for riding :(

50 is the high for tomorrow looks like the next week will barely make the mid 60's

some locals here (south indy) have done a ride starting round nashville, in. (brown co.) and ride thru the hnf... all back roads down to tell city on the ohio river on last weekend of october. the fall colors in full force. the over night stay round tell city can be at camp ground or hotel/motel.

we usually do one route down and a different route back. i just got this years route loaded into my gps. this will be the 6th year for this ride. it will be next weekend (oct 27/28). any you local guys wanna ride along.. mostly dual sport guys, but street bikes have done all years.

my z1 is still in pieces, so i will be on klr.
