Been to Helen and Back several times in the last 6 years. The Richard Russell Parkway is one of my favorite roads between South of Blairsville over to Helen. I go to a ZRX rally in Suches, GA area on Old GA 60. This past Memorial Day Week, I rode my 2011 C-14 around the area. Here is a picture or two coming in from the TN side of the Tail of the dragon(US 129) to the NC side. Ground my peg in some of the corners. :woohoo:

Hey Forrest, You are right:The roads are pretty awesome. We rode every day at pretty sedate pace (no peg draggin) but we all returned in one piece with the shiny stuff intact.

Had a great time meeting some new KZ friends including Boatdrinks and his son on his really cool KZ650 and Virginia on her pretty darn rare and well-done KZ200.
I recommend it if they have it there again.

WOW Jim! Awesome pics of many excellent classic bikes. Glad you had a great time. I would like to bring my KZ sometime. Wish I lived as close as you to such great roads. Only problem, I would be playing hooky all the time! :laugh:

Nice pics! It's a shame VJMC never seems to hold an event in the central part of the East Coast. For some inexplicable reason I don't believe I've ever seen anything within 100 mile radius of MD. If they held events I might be interested in joining. Ed

Hey Ed, Did you try contacting some of their field reps. They have been friendly and helpful RE: KZ Relay Ride. Here is a link for your area. >>> vjmc.org/pickstate.shtml

There are three field reps in Maryland. Hope they can lend a voice to your wish.
