Wasatch Fall Colors 10/4/15

I happen to live about 2 miles below the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. I did all the running around and honey-dos I could. I then geared up and bolted.
Its been about 10°F above normal for the past few weeks to a month. Today was no exception in addition the humidity has been high due to 2 days of good rain.
So I went up the canyon to this
and got a few drops of rain
But it was worth the less than 20 min ride.

Fall is the best riding season, we get about 3 weeks peak fall foliage
in western New York. Finger lakes are great also. Watkins Glen were the track is. This is Seneca Lake.
Seen this old Wizard in a small antique shop. Of course it is not for sale
The old shovel sounds crisp and loud in the cool dry dense air!

Never got above 60 deg. here but we still put about 150 miles on the bikes.
First we hit a Swap meet in Peotone that turned out to be 100% Harley parts but I still found a nice medium size sissy bar bag for the bike and some very cool reproduction posters of old flat track races from our area.
Then we headed to Uttica and had a cup cake, no good fall tree colors yet.

Awesome pics. I love fall and am trying to get my project on the road to see some fall colors at Devil Lake State Park near me. Awesome roads up there.
