Z650 1978 ignition timing

greetings to all, i have a doubt about the ignition timing of my 1978 z650.
the gasoline we use today has 95 octane while in the 70's and 80's it had 97 octane.
With gasoline available today, to regulate ignition times, is it advisable to postpone them a bit?

I run 93 octane with a smidge advanced. No issues.

Where in the world are you?  There are different octane rating methods in different parts of the world.  I suspect you are in a country which uses the RON method, which is a different rating method than what the USA uses, for reference, and the octane numbers are higher for the same fuel.  At any rate, a couple of octane rating points won't matter either way if your bike is tuned properly.

I had a doubt even if in fact the bike works perfectly.
