Assuming your asking about an air-cooled bike it'll depend on the ambient air temperature, wether your riding at 5mph or 105mph, timing, bore wear, oil quality and condition, carburation mixture, plus other things I'm sure.
So in a nutshell, not so hot it siezes but not so cold that you need the choke on for than a few minutes.
