What is the situation with the one you have?

Keep an eye on ebay. Decent J-heads get listed once in awhile, and you can always message sellers regarding potential availability.

Cracks are often repairable by "the right shop" look for recommendations from the vintage car world where replacements aren't available

Tiny cracks radiating from the spark plug hole are common and usually not a problem. If it is a serious crack it can be fixed.

If it's a crack between the plug hole and valve seat this is very common on most heads and usually not an issue.
The fissure is usually just on the surface and needs no repair.
A pic of what you have will help confirm this..
