kz1100 head swop help

hi
i have a kz1100 shaft 1985 that i,m stripping to restore .the front of the head where it mates onto the barrels is snapped off.
i have a head off a 1000 J . would i be right in thinking this will fit.

Yes! as long as the 85 head isn't the bathtub type.
A pic of the 1100 heads combustion chamber will allow us to confirm this.
