So I checked engine #1 today and indeed the holes were there.  So I filled them!  My guess is that KHI had a leak issue during testing and this was the fix.  Engine #2 is a bit harder to check.  I need to pull the cam bearings to move the cams.  Job is half done.  Normally I would put the bike on the lift but my KZ1000 is sitting on it right now so I'm working off the floor and my back got sore so I quit half way through the job.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

My bike is blue but I love the green one you posted! Its exactly what i was talking about when I said I wanted to paint my bike the old green color.

There is definitely a divide these days between much older guys and young guys. In my town most of the cafe racers have a side bag and no one refers to them as a "purse" not even the old guys in town who are over 60 but who remain hip.

I was actually thinking of adding a side bag like that to my bike because theres nowhere put anything and I hate wearing backpacks.

Maybe you meant to make fun by calling it a purse, but no young ppl I know call it that, and we all think its dope and icy (if you dont know what "dope"  and "icy" means in this context, google it).

And no, im not posting pics of my bike because not only are ppl nosy, but they steal pics. No thanks. I like my anonymity.

Yea I am over 60 but I must not "hip" anymore.  I would be damned if I would have a purse on the side of any one of my bikes.

The only thing I carry when I go riding is my wallet, some bond money and my Sig!!!!
