Here is a real Falicon

KZ 1000 crank
Ultra lite Supercrank
Round journals have been cut to porkchop 900 style to lighten
Then journals are knife edged to cut thru oil mist and air
Whole  thing is highly polished
All the normal crank work to rods ,bearings, welding , truing, indexing and of course  magic dust  LOL
Dave

Imagine the piles of dust it took to make that crank, and the ones left behind ever since.

My latest stash addition for some presently unknown future purpose:
I suspect there is a "plan" festering for this gem - "go on" you call tell us, we won't tell Mrs "O"

I have no idea, but she already knows.

The very last Falicon Supercrank I had done I went with polished stock rods. I wish I would have had them bush the small end of the rods.
With all the compression I run in that motor I did have some minor galling in one rod!!!  Could of Would of Should of!!!

Optical Rod Indexing.  Any thoughts-opinions regarding efficacy?

Beats locating a proper 18mm steel rod, and provided purpose for some old Lego's.

Looks good to me, why over complicate things. I don't know how many splines are on each crank section but I would imagine if you were 1 out, it would be obviously apparent
