KZ750r1 Exhaust
15 Apr 2023 16:31
Hey folks,
Still riding my 82 GPz750, but I'm interested in replacing the old 4-1 Vance & Hines exhaust with a new(er) one, not stainless, but black. The existing one's baffling has long blown out and I don't think I can replace it (can't remove the end to put in new baffle). Other than that, the exhaust is in good shape, but yeah, pretty loud.
Any ideas please? I've been looking on eBay for quite some time for a replacement, but it's pretty much unobtainium. Not too thrilled about a MAC exhaust unless I have no other options.

I have a NOS black Supertrapp for your bike that I'll never use. Including both a canister and megaphone mufflers. It's got some storage marks, but otherwise it's never been run.

We recently installed a Delkevik black ceramic coated exhaust system on our 82' CB 900F. It came with a black chrome exhaust system and we felt it should be replaced with a black exhaust system. It's the third Delkevik system we've installed, they fit well and sound great.

Many thanks to you all...so glad I have a couple of good options. I love the bike, bought it new and have been riding it for the past 40 years. I've heard good things about Delkevic and of course SuperTrapp. Nessism: I read your posts on the restoration of your bike...all I can say is "wow".
