Plug Check 2003 Kawasaki ZR7s
03 Sep 2023 15:26
Time for the Fall plug check on the old 2-valve dinosaur 2003 ZR7s. She's rolled 19,000 km since the Fall 2022 plug check.
I always find it amazing that this air-cooled, carbureted, no computer beast produces spark plugs that look as good as those coming out of the ULEV modern Accord.
The gap spec is 24 to 28 thou, and these used plugs were all 30 plus/minus small change.
So I cleaned them up, pushed the side electrodes down for 25 thou, put a spot of copper anti-seize on the threads, and screwed them back in.
