Liquid gasket question

I have attached a photo. The KZ305 uses liquid gasket only for the cylinder head cover...no paper.

My question is does liquid gasket go around the inside bolt holes next to the camshaft? These bolt holes will be encapsulated by the outer perimeter of the gasket, but I'm wondering if oil will work up and around the bolts and out the top of the cover around the bolt heads if I don't use gasket there.

I'm concerned about putting liquid gasket this close to the camshaft and it's journals.

The service manual simply says "Apply liquid gasket to the mating surface."

Just a very thin coating on the outer edge of the head cover. nothing inside needs to be sealed.
