First time I'd done such a thing but I've stripped #3 plug hole, I mean the plug shot out of the hole while still attached to wire and just zappin the shit out of me LOL
If using helicoil kit is necessary, which one? Or what size drill and tap?

There are kits available that come with the drill, tap, and inserts.  14mm spark plug.  Amazon should have them.

DO NOT use a helicoil for a plug thread. The correct insert for that application is a TIMESERT.

Similar to a helicoil but solid with a flange on the outer face to stop it accidently screwing into the combustion chamber when putting the plug in.

Oh wow I didn't even realize that very well could happen. Good call Warren! Know anywhere I can get just one time-cert? Maybe NAPA will sell me one of their inserts. Does the time-cert need to be long reach M14x1.25x19 or will this protrude into cylinder?

I was asking to see the threaded tip if it has a leading tap or not. I wish I had used a Helicoil instead of an insert. The whole kit made the one hole too much money and I could have saved myself a lot of greaf.

Might seem like a stupid question but what size is that plug, it looks kind of small in your hand against the coil ? (I assume this was in your KZ ?)

If you use it be careful you follow the hole exactly. With the Timeserts unless it has a leading tap you can go on an angle causing a valve rubbing on the plug electrode.  Stay away from the OEM brand inserts. I tried the one without the leading tap that would follow the plug threads. I then found one with the leading tap but the damage was already done. They have a knurled top edge that has to be expanded with a tool that comes with the kit. Not good and the insert would back out with the plug. In trouble I ordered the larger Timeserts and the expanding tool to use once it was done. They are still loose and I will have to remove the head to fix them.
I suspect the coils you show will compress to fit the threads. I found the valve seat shoulders are very close to the plug threads so I doubt the Helicoil would go past them. The good thing about the Timeserts is they have a shoulder that prevents them from going too far in.
I wish I had used a Helicoil first and RODE THE PISS OUT OF IT to this day.
