GPS speedometer

After switching to a 17" front wheel, I no longer had room for a speedometer drive.
For awhile I used a speedometer app on my phone but that proved to be inconvenient and cumbersome.

I bought an inexpensive GPS speedometer off eBay and mounted it where the OEM speedometer sits.
In order to compliment the OEM tachometer I opted for an analog display.
Unfortunately the back light LED color does not match that of the tachometer.
I"m sure I could replace the red LEDs but for now I'm happy just to have a functioning speedometer.

In order to fit the new gauge I had to break and remove the glass from the gauge cluster cover.
The speedometer drops in from the top and is held from the back by a traditional gauge clamp.
I simply tapped into the OEM cluster's wiring harness to power the new gauge when the key is ON. The same power that feeds the tachometer.

The GPS antenna cable runs out the bottom of the gauge cluster and the antenna gets mounted behind the windscreen facing upward.

Do you have a link to the speedo Gary, I am looking for a replacement for the very same gauge cluster...

That's it.
But I bought for slightly less on eBay. Also with free shipping.
