Points problem 80 KZ440 LTD

I've been having an issue with no spark. I replaced my coil, and I just replaced my points and condenser but I still have no spark and I wonder if I've done something wrong. When I measure the + side of the coil I get 12v, when I measure the negative side I also get 12v, I get 12v regardless of whether the points are open or closed. I know they are opening and closing but I always have 12v on both sides of the coil and no spark. Does anyone have any idea as to what I might have done? I attached some pictures

I don't see any photos. Are your points wired directly to your coil or do you also have an exciter?
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
