Speedo cable screw cap snapped (kz650)
02 Feb 2021 22:11
Hey all... a lot of the parts on the kz650 I am working on are brittle as all hell, and I snapped this part:
Any advice on finding a new one? Or should I just bite the bullet and order a whole new cable? I see a few on ebay, but I am not sure if I need part 54001-052 or 54001-1002, I have a C2 model.

You will need to buy a new cable. I have never seen the nut sold separately, because it has to be installed before the flared ends of the cable are pressed on. Partzilla shows 54001-1002 as the correct number for the C2. The other number is for the 650B series.
