@$%#$ Wiring *%#@ Diagrams!

Fellas I need some help please. I have put some ZN1100/750 gauges on my wife's GPz1100 because the originals are just hideous and not worthy of taking up space on the dash of a motorcycle. I think I have the GPz end of the harness sorted out, but for the life of me, I can't find a clear copy of the wiring diagram for the ZN gauges to make up a patch cable. Anybody got suggestions or donations of wiring diagrams? As a last result... I suppose I could split open the gauges & wring out the wires... Anyone?

Can you use the original harness with the new gauges ?
 

Before trying to search, are the meters from the ZN1100 or ZN750 (ZN700 in the USA).  also, what year is the GPz1100?  Thanks.

Yes. It physically plugs in, but the GPz harness is just idiot lights & the ZN harness is speedo, tach & cluster lights.

The meters are from a ZN1100 (per ebay seller, & partzilla says they're the same from 1100 to 700) and the GPz is a 1981.

GPz wiring diagram.  There are a couple of manuals floating around the internet that cover the KZ1000/KZ1100/ZX1100 models & both pdfs may be linked here on KZR.  One covers the 81-83 KZ1000/1100 models & I believe it serves as the base manual for the 83-85 manual.  One of the pdfs should have a wiring diagram for your GPz.

Is this from your personal stash? Where did you find it? I have a (pretty good) copy of the GPz, but had no luck finding the ZN one.

I got if from someone on another forum several years ago.  I wasn't sure if the 700 Ltd Shaft meter wiring would be the same as the ZN1100.
