Speaking of used plugs, does anyone have a good cleaning procedure for cleaning carbon fouled plugs? In the wayback times, I used to have access to a sand blasting machine that you threaded the plug into, blasted it for a couple of minutes and it would come out sparkling clean.

BCScott,thanks for asking. I was thinking the same. I have good, but for fouled plugs. If the stock of B8ES is getting thin I’d like to clean and save what I have.

I use carb cleaner and a soft brush around the base.  Sandpaper between the electrodes.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I use easy-off oven cleaner. When I first heard about using it, I thought it was dumb until I stopped to think about it for a second.

The two boxes of ND 24ES plugs we received from OP's vendor (very fast shipping!) appear to be genuine. We examined six plugs, three each from both boxes, very carefully under magnification, comparing them to some NOS W24ES-U and W24ES plugs we've had on the shelf, some for decades. The two 10-plug boxes themselves show legit signs of age and long-term storage. The individual cellophane wrapping of the box each individual plug is in is identical in every way to our old NOS plugs.  We're probably set for life on plugs now.

W22ES crosses to NGK B7ES.  Slightly hotter but not inappropriate unless very long runs at high RPM are the norm.  We know of some very knowledgeable Z1 owners in EU and AU  running B7ES or equivalent.

Agree!   I received my shipment yesterday,  and they appear to be legit.  Looks like NOS to me,  thanks for the tip Nessism!

Mine arrived today, so I'm probably set too - especially because I need half as many per bike.

I am not qualified in any way to assess the NOS-ness - beyond "that looks kinda old" - and I appreciate your analysis.

Yup.  My 750 runs B8ES or W24ES plugs.  I've got a box on the way as well.  Can't pass us a good deal.  I don't clean plugs.
