I have the 76 harness, but with earlier idiot light steering head, gauge mount, maybe it was crashed...

I’m sorry I misspoke I’m our PM. Those look to be the correct gauges but the idiot light and meter bracket are for a Z1. I’m 99% sure the top triple clamp is interchangeable from the Z1 to the Kz

What I’m saying is the triple tree s from the Z1 and Kz are interchangeable. I bet the bike was wrecked and someone swapped in Z1 trees

It's always interesting to see what people have done to these old bikes over the decades.  Sometimes it's necessity.  Sometimes it's just preference.  I think Mikaw is correct.  The gauges are probably '76.  The tach for sure isn't from a Z1.  The dash is definitely Z1A or B.  (lettering is under the light)

The rake and trail are the same for a Z1 and a KZ 900 so the triple trees are interchangeable, but the mounting holes for the dash may be different.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
