1982 KZ1000J electrical problem

When the problem as showing its head, I only had to ride about 7-8 km.
After all the fiddling I did, I rode the bike 4 or 5 times for ~ 15 km rides and the problem did not appear. Very happy so far but only longer rides will confirm this. I winter stored the bike on september 30 and it's only next spring I'll see how it goes.
