connection starter relais

undefined The old starter relay of my z was torn and now put another one on it. The relay has two poles, one from battery plus (red) to relay and the second (black) from relay to starter.

Question: Does it matter or does it not matter on which pole of the relay the red and black go to, I don't think it matters but I'm not sure. I'm asking this to see how best I can get rid of the cables later on.

I doesn´t matter. The starter relay is only a massiv switch unit to deliver the higher current (Ampere) flow both ways between the battery and starter motor.
