Headlamp suddenly quit working and no 'headlamp indicator light' came on

Its one thing after another   suddenly noticed headlamp didn't come on. Strangely enough, no headlamp failure indicator light either. 
The headlamp is new ish I checked for voltage at 3 prong but none

It was resolved, an actual headlamp prong (one of 3) from the HL itself developed a short. Likely from pushing plug on and off and you know about dem road vibes.
