Heres my latest project(s)
(gulp!)Honda GL 1000 forks, Boranni 19 wheel, 320mm rotors, V65 calipers.
The second pic is a CB 750 Front hub laced to a Boranni 18 inch and an adaptor to mount for rear wheel application (sprocket adaptor). I will probably use the existing Grimeca caliper that is on my bike now. They are for a (gulp) Honda CB 750 SOHC.

This setup leaves you with no cushdrive, have you considered this? That's going to look great.

The Shelby-Dowd mags on my CB now have no cush dive either (stock has a cush drive). I have put 6 X 3/8 steel pins at the sprocket adaptor/ hub junction (between the mounting bolts) to strengthen this one up. Time will tell if it will work.
It weights about the same as the stock rear wheel, but it allows me to use a better braking system with many more options for discs and calipers.
This type of front wheel to the rear position is popluar with the Yamaha XS 650's. Omars sells an adaptor kit for them.
I like to see these kind of "more than just bolt on" mods, and that's why I was curious to see if it had progressed any.

PS: bolt on mods are good too!!

Sorry about the lack of updates.
We've been really busy with our son, and I've been on the hunt for a new job (which I found now. YAH!)
Anyhow, the project is slowly coming together now. I'm getting it into KICKDOWN mode here soon, so I'd like to get it finished ASAP.
I've got front engine mounts coming soon, the swingarm (03-05 R6) will be mounted when the bearings and dust caps arrive (should be Sat.), and then I just need to design the rear hub adapters for the brake and sprocket.
I had originally intended for this to be a cafe bike, and then came across a tank/seat I liked, so I decided to streetfighter it.
Well, now I finally got a damn tank I REALLY like for a cafe (81 GPz1100), so I think it will get cafe'd and I'll use the other tank/seat on something else.
