HI i have a 1985 zn750 pretty close to the spectre and i have the shitty air shocks in the rear and they have seen better days. I'm wondering what other models with springs would be interchangable and even manufacturers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Frank,
Last week, I had my bike out for the fist time this year. Either I've aged or it has but the suspension feels very stiff especially the front. So I started looking and found something interesting with a progressive ratio spring and shock from these guys at:
www.z1enterprises.com/company.aspx
What's stopping me is that I'm not in love with the black shock body finish. I'm more interested in a more OEM looking chrome body finish.
I got some good background info on progressive spring characteristics from these guys at Progressive Suspension Inc.:
www.progressivesuspension.com/pdfs/PSI2007Catalog.pdf
Best of success.
