All right !!! Who out there in KZ-Land has used Michelin inch size tires on their KZ ?? My 650C2 needs tires badly and normally I'd put on a set of Spitfires BUT....
the Spitfires only come in metric sizes/profiles and
this bike is so nice it deserves to keep the "look" of the inch-dimensioned tires that came on it originally.
I'm leaning towards the Macadam 50 in 3.25 x 19 for the front and Macadam 50E in 4.00 x 18 for the rear.
I'm also looking at Metzeler LaserTecs and Conti TK's in the same sizes.
I appreciate hearing from anyone who has actual experience in using inch-dimensioned tires on their KZ, especially 650 owners.

Call a motorcycle dealer and ask him to check in his Tucker/Rocky book for the conversion information.

I have a metzler ME33 LASER on the front, I think it's a 110/90/19. My bike is in Indiana so I can't say for sure.

The back is a bridgestone Spitfire 130/90/18. I had a 4.25 back there before I put the 130 on. Those are the max width you can go though, 130 or 4.25.

I love the Metzler Laser's on my 650, I've always gone with the metric one's but both should perform the same.
