kz700 front brake bleeding was created by kz700rider
The fluid was a nasty brown. So I emptied the system. Cycled new fluid through.
I picked a vacume bleeder from harbor freight. Ive been bleeding the thing all afternoon and still there is air. I was told that I would have bleed it for quite some time cause I emptied the system. It seems like a heck of alot of air has come out. Way more than I expected. Ive done brakes before. Is there something im missing.

Which brake bleeding setup did you get from Harbor Freight?
After completely emtying both the front and rear master cylinders on my ZN and trying in vain for two days to bleed them manually, I picked up a Mighty Vac from HB and had both bled in about 30 mins.
That was last year, and the pedal and lever still are solid feeling.
Make sure that the clear hoses supplied with the brake bleeder system fits tight over the caliper bleeder valve to prevent any air from re-entering the system.

The rubber fits over the bleeder fine. Very snug.
Here is the bleeder kit I picked up (link). www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=92924
I'll keep at the bleeding and position the calipers in the afternoon.
Its going to be 80+ here in Milwaukee. Sure would be nice fore a ride.

open the bleeder, put a hose on it and into a can, tape the lever to hold it open and fill it full, let it sit and keep filling it up as it goes down. also tap on all the fittings and lines.
