kz400-440 wheels fit kz650? was created by bkitchen
There is a set of wheels on ebay and was wondering if a det of wheels off of a kz400-440 would fit a kz650. Both have rear drums.

Re:will a 78 kz400 front end fit on my 76? - 2005/12/22 16:27
well ive talked to a freind that has expeirience rebuilding kz's and he said the axles are a different circumference.
so basically id either have to buy a 78 rim to go with the forks or put the axle on a lathe.
apparantly kawasaki was eperamenting with axles sizes
seems to me they thought the kz400 axles could use a lil beefin up.
if the wheels are newer then 76 they might work
