KZ1000 fork slider bushing replaceable? was created by 415ZR1
This is my first foray into early KZ forks. Are the bushings inside the sliders replaceable? Parts fiche and diagram do not show a part number. Seals and such, yes...but no slider bushings! Every other bike that I've messed with has had the bushings as a serviceable item.
Say it isn't so...that once a slider bushing is worn, than a new slider must be sourced?

What year KZ1000?
I don't know about the J/K/M models (1981-1983) but the early KZ1000 forks don't even have bushings, it's just chrome fork tube against aluminum lower leg

Specific application is '77 KZ1000.
Yes, there is no split bushing on the fork tube, and yes, the chrome fork tube lower end rides on aluminum in the lower slider...but there is a split bushing just below the fork seal in the slider. This is the bushing for which I need a replacement. On other makes of the same vintage/design era (like Honda), this bushing is serviceable.
Doesn't show on any Kawasaki fiche or parts list. Hopefully it is replaceable and not considered an integral part of the slider.

Found an exact fit, drop-in bushing from a different make that fits the KZ1000 slider.

If it has an upper bushing, that is usually a seperate part, but the lower one (if any) is usually part of the fork leg assembly.
