Is it possible to swap out a later model Kawasaki front master cylinder for my old 1980 750? I need to replace the front master but I cant find a decently priced one anywhere. I was thinking maybe one of the later ZX models would work, unless im way off.

I don't know if you have twin disks or not but I've used a ZX M/C when I swapped to dual disk a few years back. It worked out nice just make sure you match the M/C size to the calipers.

Speaking only from reading on this forum about it, and owning a 1980 KZ750... I think that you can find another master cylinder that would work, it would need to be the same bore that your current one is (5/8 plunger?) because of the duel disks, also it will be a bit of a chore finding one that is going to set level on the stock handlebars.
Generally though if the conditions above are true, you can make it work (probably stick to Japanese bikes though)
I've read of several people switching to a lower handlebar and changing out the MC at that point.
