VIN Question was created by arozanski
I could swear there was a VIN section on here, but I can't find it again. Quick question - my VIN begins KZT00B5... What do I have? Production date 3/79, no accelerator pump on carbs. Bike has been modified, I am trying to establish a baseline. Thanks!

Probably a 1979 KZ1000B3 (LTD)...or at least the frame is:laugh: Non-standard carbs.

I think the stock carbs had an accelerator pump...I just checked the parts diagram for the 1979 B3 and the pump is present...so you have something else...with luck they are 29 smoothbores
