Bent my handlebars... HELP was created by Godzpeed
Hey I dropped my 80 KZ750 on my lawn when I was testing it and now the right handlebar is bent some which is preventing me from steering it correctly, the fork and everything else is perfectly ok as the handlebars took the pressure. My question is there anyway I can bend the bar back heh I have tried usin a hammer and a block of wood together but that wont work, I have a lot of tools so is there any way I can get this bent back? please I really need help here...
Thanks guys.

nope, two screws. Just lube it back up when you re-install it.

If you try the pipe method you might also want to slide sumthing inside the bars to keep from crimping them like a long 1/2 inch drive extension.if it was mine i would trash them and get new bars as they are soft metal and you can only bend them so many times before they break.if youve ever had the bars break going down the road you know it aint cool.

I would spend the $25 and get a new set of bars.

I second that. Get a new set of bars, they are cheap and definately the safer way to go

I third that, because by prying on the bar with a cheater pipe, you stand a good chance of screwing up your neck bearings. Bars are cheap and easy.
