Hi, I've gotta a 78 kz1000 ltd that I just refurbished. I'm not overly fond of the pullback bars on it. I was thinking of either drag bars or the superbikebars. I'm looking for the easier way where I wouldn't have to replace cables or brake lines, etc. Any thought on this subject. I've heard people like the drag bars. I like most people I suppose, am on a limited budget.

I just put "dragbars" on my 1980 kz1000 ltd. I was not fond of the pullbacks either. Most people seem to either run "cafebars" or the "dragbars".
This what I used. I love them. I go on long rides now an find them to be much easier on my back. My dad on the other hand hates them and prefers the cafe style, which is basically the same with a 2" rise on them.
I did not need shorter cables They just loop out a little farther than my stock pullback's did.
