rear axle assembly was created by udder
ok i took the rear wheel off to get a new tire and some powder coating done. when i went to reassemble i have 2 plain washers. the kawi parts diagram only shows one. my question is does it go on the out side of the adjusters against the nut on the end of the bolt and the other one possibly goes on the head end of the bolt again on the outside of the adjusters against the head?
got ahead of myself thinking the diagram had what i needed for reassembly but i was wrong i think.

Ya,You should only have the one washer for the castlenated nut on the end of the axle.
The P.O. probably put it on there...just go with what Yoy see in the diagram.
Just watch though while You're tightening the nut...make sure You don't run out of threads. In other words, maybe THAT'S why the other washer might have been on the opposite end of the axle??
