Pitbull Stands was created by circusnuts
Can we use them on the KZs?
I need to suspend the bike so I can send off the wheels to have new rims installed on the stock hubs.
TIA
Phil

Swingarm stand: yes, as long as they have the cup-style attachments (as opposed to the ones that only work with spools).
Front: don't know. It will have to be quite tall, the two front end stands I've seen (not pitbull)were too short to pick the steering head up.
In a pinch: if you've still got the center stand, you can take the rear wheel off then jack up the front with one or two jacks.

I think the rear will be fine as long as it has "paddles" and not "forks". I also believe the front to be too short.
I don't have a front stand but I'll tell you how I raise the front. I put the bike on the side stand, obviously. Then take a floor jack, not a bottle jack, and place the pad under the front right peg bracket. I then jack it up no higher than I need to. This is how I swpaped my front end out on my 1000. Works pretty good, just check to make sure the bike isn't slipping of the jack.
