better handling front forks? GSXR maybe? was created by uni_boy15
Let me start by saying that i searched the archives a couple weeks ago and i thought i found somthing but i couldn't find anything when i just looked...
My kz650 is having front fork seal issues and I am looking to replace them, I picked up a new set of seals from z1 but i was just wondering what my options were on a completely new/replacment set of forks off of a newer better handling sportbike? Is there any forks that are the same size and fit pretty easyly?
Just a thought, Louis

In a word, no. Stems are shorter, bearings are different size, late forks are up to 3" shorter than your stock front end, and your stock wheel/brakes won't fit without some machining/effort/cost. you have to deal with instrument brackets, fork stops, handlebar mounting.
The best upgrades you can do to your stock forks are rebuild them, install progressive springs and a fork brace.
