Rear Tire 130/70/18 ?

I have to replace my tires very soon on my 85 KZ1000 Police Bike.
I think the stock tire sizes for my bike are;
FRONT 110/90-18 REAR 120/90-18

I would like to put METZELER LASERTEC on it;
FRONT 110/80-18 REAR 130/70-18

Will I have any problems with the rear tire rubbing?
I have new Progresive 412 shocks so I'm not worried about the ride.
Has anyone ran a 70 on an 18" rim?

I can't say for certain you won't but I believe you will be alright. You know that tire is not as tall as the 120/90. By about 17mm.

I am lowering the bike as well as raking the front a bit. I have 11 1/2 shocks on the rear. My goal is to rake the front out to level the bike back out. I want the frame to be level, not lower in the back, or higher in the front. Just nice and level.
I am only 5'7 so I want to be able to stand flat footed while on the bike. Also being a police bike with the forward controls it looks like a nice cruiser.

Will a Rear Tire size 130/70-18 have a good edge to ride on?

a 130mm tire will fit your swingarm with no problem,just check your fender im not sure what the dimensions on the police bike fender are compared to a z1/kz
