Gear shift lever for big feet? was created by Little B
Anyone know where I could get or if they even make longer gear shift levers for the KZ750? I've seen them available for other bikes but never seen the option for KZs.

Don't know if something like that is available BUT if you handy with a welder or know someone who is it's real easy to modify it to your liking. Only problem would be painting it or rechroming? :S

The last pair of boots I bought had a thick sole on them, I had to raise the shifter lever up one notch on the shaft to make it comfortable to use,,, would this help you?

I don't know, it might help some to move it up a notch. But I think the issue is that my foot has to be a ways backwards in order to use it properly. hmmm

Am uncertain about length difference or fitment to KZ750, but oem shift lever on Z1/KZ900 is 6 1/2 inches from center of spline hole to center of end tip. Guessing KZ1000 continued with same lever.
Many Z1/KZ900 riders prefer shorter levers to move the contact point behind (instead of over) the big toenail.
