Thickest foam grips? was created by old650
I want to slip on some new foam grips. I slice off the old and use hairspray to slip on and hold the new. I just forgot which foamies were the thickest at Denniskirk. Anyone know which foam grips are the thickest that they carry? Maybe Johar? I can't remember. The second set that I ordered a few years ago were skinnier than my first order and I was a little disapointed. I like a nice fat, hand filling foam grip. It's time to order some new head wraps for the ol' pumpkin anyway, may as well grab the grips also. Thanks.

Hmmm, that was my intuitive guess, thanks. The bars are 7/8's correct?

Yes, they are 7/8's. I've been using Grab On's myself, also been doing the wife's extra heavy duty hairspray thing for 25 years! It work's great!!:woohoo:

Johar actually offers two diff foam grip styles.
And IIRC, the "superbike/sport" style (which I currently have on my KZ650) are the longer and thinner foamed of the two.
