swingarm bearing

How do I get those things out of there. Theres 2 total, one on each end.

Cut off a broom handle and use a hammer.

A long rod and a BFH should do it.

Both folks have suggested a tool called a drift. I don't use broom handles as I like something more solid to whack with my BFH! Go to any hole improvement store and buy and aluminum bar. Get at least 5/8" thick bar and one that is about 2" long. I use this thing to drive out axles and bearings and it makes a handy tool. If you have to drive out sticky bearings, like in a steering head, you will need the solid metal to do the driving.

Thanks guys, thats kinda what I thought. The last time I used that method on our ATV the bearing just broke apart and it was a lot of work getting them out. Hopefully this goes better than that.

I doub't beating on them will budge them. If not, get a dremmel tool out and grind them to weaken them enough to break as you hammer on them.

I'd try my inside bearing puller first, assuming the tool would have enough room to work between the needle bearing's (Part #92046-1115) cage and the swing arm sleeve (Part #42036-1017). Otherwise, use a drift. In either case, first heat the outside area of the swingarm that contains the bearing with the wife's hair dryer.

I broke down and bought a dremel. That little thing is amazing!
