I can't bolt the factory brakes back on the new rims?
There is no "standard" brake rotor mounting, different number of bolts, different diameters, different bolt circle, ect. And with wider wheels the rotor is moved outboard and hits the swingarm. When doing this type of mods, a decent size lathe, mill, or a friend with a machine shop comes in real handy
Generally, swapping the entire suspension is the best way to go to wider wheels.

And none of the new entire suspensions will bolt right in no matter what model or brand except maybe some Ex500 or Gs500 stuff simply due to their smaller overall size. Some early-mid 90's Gsxr stuff will fit with some "minimal" mods but that's about as lucky as you're going to get.
